Bolt-On Current Transformers for High Current Metering

Saturn Pyro supplies bolt-on split-core current transformers for reliable high-current measurement, retrofit power metering, energy monitoring and electrical panel monitoring applications.

Bolt-on current transformers are suitable for larger cable and busbar applications where a more secure mechanical installation is required. They are commonly used in main switchboards, LV panels, MCC panels, distribution boards, transformer incomers, large feeders, chillers, compressors, pumps and heavy industrial loads.

Our bolt-on CT range supports practical retrofit installation for digital power meters, smart energy meters, demand monitoring, power quality monitoring, EMS, BMS, SCADA and IoTWatt 4.0. Selected models are available in Class 0.5 and Class 1 accuracy, making them suitable for high-current energy visibility and measurement improvement projects.

Safety note: CT installation should be carried out by competent electrical personnel. For 5A / 1A CTs, the CT secondary circuit must not be left open while current is flowing in the primary conductor.
