RS2MQTT / RS2MQTT+ 4G MQTT Gateway
3Wire RS2MQTT and RS2MQTT+ are industrial 4G IoT gateways designed to connect field devices such as PLCs, power meters, energy meters, sensors, protection relays, controllers and remote I/O modules to IoT platforms.
The gateways poll data from RS232, RS485 or RS422 devices and transmit the data to cloud or server platforms using MQTT or HTTP POST over GPRS / LTE networks. RS2MQTT is focused on serial connectivity, while RS2MQTT+ adds Ethernet for TCP/IP-based polling applications.
Product Overview
RS2MQTT is designed for industrial sites that need to collect data from existing serial devices and send it to an IoT platform without installing a full PLC, industrial PC or local server.
It can poll Modbus RTU and DLT-645 parameters, convert selected data into JSON format, and publish it through MQTT or send it through HTTP POST. Configuration can be managed through serial interface and 3Wire Device Management Software.
